Abortion Part 3: When is it okay to kill your kids?

On the last post, we went over when life begins which is of course at conception.  So what next?  Is it okay to kill your kids and if so why and up to what age?  Is it okay to kill that child immediately after conception?  Is it okay to kill them anytime during the first week after conception?  Is it okay after the 1st month, the first trimester, 2nd trimester, at birth, when they turn 1 year old, when they turn 5 years old, or when they become a teenager?  The point is if it’s okay to kill that child immediately after conception, then why is it not okay to kill them at any time after that?

But, you say, “my body, my choice”.  Is it?  Is it JUST YOUR life we are talking about? Is it really all about you? Indeed not. There is another life within a pregnant lady. Is abortion really a women’s rights issue anyway?  Aren’t around half of the children being killed in the womb women? What about their rights, ... even their own basic right to life?

Where was the “my body, my choice” chant while the government was forcing us all to put chemicals such as the COVID vaccine into our bodies during the pandemic?  It was primarily the same people who scream “my body my choice” who were the ones most critical of anyone who wouldn’t take the vaccine.  Smell any hypocrisy here?  Also, if you notice, half of the words in the phrase "my body my choice" are selfish words.

Next, what if the victim becomes pregnant as a result of rape or incest?  Great question.  The obvious intelligent answer is that if a lady is a victim of either of those horrible crimes and gets pregnant as a result, does being a victim of that crime rise to the point that they as the victim now have the right to take the life of another innocent person such as their own child? And if so, if they can do that, shouldn't they also have the right to kill the guilty person who committed the rape? How is it that the victim can kill an innocent person but not the person who committed the crime? Certainly, if you have the right to kill an innocent child that could come as a result of rape or incest, you should be able to kill the rapist, …right? If not, why not?

We are certainly not advocating for the killing of anyone.  It’s just the opposite.  The point is that even as horrible as the crimes of rape and incest are, they don’t give the victim the right to kill others, and especially doesn’t give them the moral right to kill the innocent child that could come as a result. It can be very hard to get past the emotion, however making just and fair decisions are critical here.  People's lives depend on it.

So from a common sense point of view even rape and incest do not justify abortion.  That leaves only one other possibility and that is to save the life of the mother.  In that case a life will be lost, and of course most likely everyone would agree to come down on the side of the mother.  This happens rarely, but when it does, it makes sense to take care of it at the time which is safest for the mother.

When considering whether to have an abortion or if you know someone who has gone through it, encourage them to contact a pregnancy resource center and/or go to www.humancoalition.org. There is help for the wonderful ladies who have dealt with or are currently dealing with this issue. Love and support is available for all who seek it.

    Steve McDaniel, precinct Chairman

I have lived in this precinct since 1984 and have seen many changes in the area. It is a great neighborhood and it is my goal to help keep it that way.

Politically, I am a conservative because those are the values that have made America great, keep us free, and have served us well over time. Unlike many liberals and their accomplices in the media, I believe in free speech and therefore am not afraid to have my opinions challenged, therefore I welcome feedback from people who both agree and don't agree with me.  I have been known to change my opinions when the evidence supports that.

In this blog, I will sometimes offer a hypothesis and some thoughts or evidence to support it.  It is all in search of the truth.  Sometimes my hypothesis may be right and at other times it may be wrong.  So let's have fun as we reach for the right conclusions in these situations.  Any time I submit a post and no one responds, I just naturally assume it's because everyone agrees with me.  Of course!  Why wouldn't they? (lol)

I will also introduce and highlight some political books.
